Hi! I am Nova Lee. I have "mermaid" colored hair and plenty of tattoos, and a few cameras, some pencils, lots of calligraphy pens & some pretty ink. I moved to the Midwest as a teenager and just can't leave; as much as I LOVE the ocean, I do love Iowa, my adopted home state. I have a beautiful blended family with my  hustand, together we have 6 awesome and sometimes annoying kids and 3 totally awesome granddaughters. 

I am an artist 1st and a photographer 2nd. I have been freezing time by snapping the shutter for over 2 decades. My goal is to discover your dreams and visions of the perfect picture, then create a beautiful piece of art, with my camera, that you would proudly display on your wall. My favorite part of portrait photography is seeing your smile when you get your finished work of art, knowing it's what you were looking for, or surprising you with an unexpected image that brings out that magic and beauty in everyone. I am your artist. 

I love babies!!!! They are my favorite subjects. I love their little baby cheeks, their little baby feet, but most of all I love their magic. Babies change and grow so fast. Capturing this moment & freezing time is so important while they are changing. 

Documenting life is what I do. Families grow, babies become adorable walking wrecking machines. I have always been fascinated with faces and generations. I look at people all the time and try to figure out who got dad's eyes or mom's nose or grandma's smile. Having a photographic history is so important.

I don't just love the face in my view finder, I also love to create art with paper and pencil. I am in my zone when I'm drawing portraits. It is my most favorite thing to do. 

I also offer photo restorations. I have over 15 years of working with Photoshop and other photo manipulation programs. 

Calligraphy is a fading art. It shouldn't be. If you are in need of some name labeling I am equipped for that.
